New details just keep surfacing in the Steve McNair murder case. We've known before that the former Tennessee Titan was involved with another woman, other than Sahel Kazemi, or Jenni, the woman police said killed McNair and then turned the gun on herself. But for the first time now we have heard from that other woman and her side of the story.

I want to know how you found out about me, because I like to keep myself secret   -Leah Ignagni

The public is learning of a new account related to the investigation into the murder of Steve McNair in July 2009. Wayne Neeley, a longtime friend and business partner of Steve McNair, said he was just stopping by the downtown condo they rented together when he found the former NFL star's body on July 4. "I swear. I swear I thought he was asleep when I first walked in," said Neeley to police investigators last July.

I walked right inside with him. As soon as I stepped through the door, I saw Steve laid with his head back. I saw the blood on his pants and blood on his shoes   -Robert Gaddy

Newly-released police interview tapes from the investigation into the death of former Titan Steve McNair shed more light on the night McNair's mistress was arrested for suspicion of drunked driving. Sahel Kazemi was arrested two days before police say she shot and killed McNair and herself on July 4, 2009. Metro detectives taped an interview with the man who was in the back seat during that DUI stop, Vent Gordon.

Exactly seven months after the murder of former Titans' quarterback Steve McNair, police released interview tapes of the men who first discovered McNair's body and the body of his girlfriend, 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi. Thursday, Metro police released their interviews with Wayne Neely and Robert Gaddy, taped just hours after they found the bodies on July 4, 2009. Neely had been friends with McNair for more than 10 years and was the first person to enter McNair's Lea Avenue condominium early that afternoon.

He claimed he didn't recognize who it was or anything. He's asking me about Steve, so I called Raymond [White], Steve's business manager   -Robert Gaddy

Even though it appeared to be a smooth day, the USM staff put in some hard work in the final days to make sure it kept the class intact.

Well, football fans, the big day is here. It's the first Wednesday in February, also known as college football's National Signing Day. Signing Day is the culmination of the circus that college football recruiting has become. It's a day when grown men all over the country who usually have better things to do wear out their browsers' refresh buttons, hoping for an update on another athlete announcing which colors he'll wear this fall.

"Bad company corrupts good habits" (I Corinthians 15:33). Certain names in the neighborhood carried a certain reputation with it; being too close with them could bring a negative influence and possibly a destructive outcome. With that lesson in mind, I wonder about today's heroes, whose names our impressionable children wear so proudly.
