Text messages between slain NFL star Steve McNair and his girlfriend show that he had affection for the woman and was not planning to end their affair, while she was distressed about money issues in the 24 hours leading up to their July 4 murder-suicide. NASHVILLE, Tenn. A paternity test has revealed that former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair was not the father of a teenage girl from Mississippi. The teenager's mother, Clover Lee, filed paperwork Friday on her 17-year-old daughter's behalf, asking for part of the estate, pending paternity test results. WSMV-TV in Nashville reports that a McNair estate spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday that those results proved the girl is not McNair's daughter.  

Second, in the new investigation, the findings presented in the document explain that the police are still gathering evidence and are interested in any information that could change the report. But what's confusing is the police report has an interview with an Adrian Gilliam, who said he met and sold the gun to Kazemi on July 3rd. CBS, while having the timeline issue, lacks an interview with Gilliam to cross check their findings.

Paternity tests confirm that former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair is not the father of a teenage girl in Mississippi. The girl's family had filed a claim asking for part of the estate because they believed he was the girl's father. A McNair estate representative confirms that paternity tests prove the 17-year-old daughter of Clover Lee is not that of McNair.
